About UsStaines Memorial College is a co-educational P-12 Christian College in Redbank Plains. We operate under the mission of "Transforming Lives" and the vision of "Building a Community for Eternity." We are part of the Christian Community Ministries (CCM) network of schools, and all staff are expected to uphold and model our Biblical values and Statement of Faith in both their personal and professional lives.
The RoleAs a Teacher Aide, you will work closely with classroom teachers to:
- Support student learning in literacy, numeracy and other key areas.
- Assist with behavioural and character development.
- Work with individuals or small groups of students within and outside the classroom.
- Support students with diverse needs through differentiated instruction and inclusive practices.
- Help prepare materials and resources to facilitate student engagement.
- Provide supervision during class, breaks, and other school activities.
- Integrate Christian faith, learning, and practice in daily interactions with students and staff.
- Encourage and support students' physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth.
- Assist in the implementation of adjustments to meet individual learning needs.
- Communicate student progress and concerns with teaching staff.
- Promote a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Actively participate in staff devotions, meetings, and professional development.
- Support the College's vision, mission, and policies, including health and safety requirements.
You are someone who:

- Demonstrates patience, compassion, and a servant-hearted attitude.
- Communicates clearly and simply.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Is committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Actively lives out their Christian faith and upholds the College's values and Statement of Faith.
- Current Positive Notice Blue Card (or eligible to obtain).
- Certificate III in Education Support, Early Childhood, or willingness to complete.
- Willingness to commit to the ethos and mission of Staines Memorial College.
- Agreement with and ability to model the College's Statement of Faith.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
- First Aid Certificate.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative and success-oriented.
- Basic computer literacy or willingness to learn.
