About the role

Lighthouse Christian College – Keysborough is seeking passionate and experienced Instrumental Tutors to join our dynamic team. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. We are a fast-growing co-educational ELC to Year 12 school. Based in Keysborough, VIC, you will have the opportunity to share your musical expertise with our students and contribute to their educational journey.

What you'll be doing

Providing high-quality instrumental music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels

Developing personalized lesson plans to cater to each student's unique needs and goals

Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to support their development

Collaborating with the music department to organize and participate in school performances and events

Maintaining accurate student records and communicating effectively with parents/guardians

Staying up to date with the latest teaching methodologies and continuously improving your craft

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualifications in music or a related field

Proven experience as an Instrumental Tutor, preferably in a school or educational setting

Excellent knowledge of various musical instruments and teaching techniques

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

Passion for music education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of students

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compliance with all relevant educational and child safety requirements
