The role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated Travel Consultant to join a leading global travel company. In this full-time role based in Melbourne, VIC, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service and tailored travel solutions to a diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing expert travel advice and assistance to customers, demonstrating strong product knowledge across a range of destinations and travel packages

  • Researching, planning and booking complex itineraries that meet the individual needs of each client

  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and proactively following up on their travel arrangements

  • Processing bookings, payments and other administrative tasks accurately and efficiently

  • Continuously developing your expertise through industry training and staying up-to-date with the latest travel trends and offerings

  • Contributing to the growth and development of the team and the company through exceptional service delivery

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 -2 years' experience in a customer service role/call centre role

  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide tailored solutions to meet diverse client needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and adaptable approach

  • A genuine passion for travel and a desire to share your knowledge and expertise with others
