FinXL is seeking a skilled and highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Canberra. This is a long-term engagement to lead and deliver multiple large-scale cloud projects for our Federal Government client. You'll be at the forefront of digital transformation, guiding projects from initial concept to successful delivery and making a real impact on major enterprise and public sector organizations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage multiple Cloud projects, working with various teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from sales handoff to project closure, including resource and financial planning.
  • Actively manage risks and issues to keep projects on schedule and meet all deadlines.
  • Manage project scope and ensure all deliverables meet contractual obligations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and partners.

Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience leading digital transformation and technical projects in domains like cloud infrastructure, application modernisation, and data analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience specifically delivering cloud migration projects.
  • Deep expertise in agile, waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.
  • Experience managing global delivery teams and partners.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or SmartSheet.
  • A valid NV1 clearance is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include Cloud Foundation, SCRUM Master, or SAFe certifications.
