With two locations, one in Preston, and one in Fairfield, Gelato Papa is looking for gelato scoopers on a casual basis to join our dynamic and fast growing business.

We are looking for super keen front of house staff to work a mix of shifts from Monday to Friday 4-10pm and Saturday and Sunday 12-10pm. Ideally you will be available to work shifts from 4pm on weekdays and 12pm on weekends for 4-5 hours. You will also cover close shifts till 10pm for between 3-6 hours a day. You must be able to work at both the Preston and Fairfield locations. Your employment will be subject to your availability to meet these requirements.

You must be confident and possess excellent customer service skills as our customers are our key priority. The job will entail serving gelato, stock management, handling payments, preparing take away orders, maintaining the shop in a clean, orderly state and closing the store. We are also keen to employ staff who are quick to think on their feet and can apply their previous customer service experience to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role (fast food takeaway is preferred).

• Availability from 4pm to 10pm on weekdays and 12pm -10pm on weekends

• Able to work at both locations in Preston and Fairfield

• A passion for gelato and quality food

• Great customer service

• A positive attitude

• Good numeracy in handling payments

• Ability to recognise when sales slow down to take on other duties such as cleaning and re stocking
