About us

Madrain Pty Ltd is a growing private company providing repairs and maintenance services to various clients and is seeking to appoint a carpenter to join our maintenance team with work located in Newcastle and Central Coast.

Qualifications & experience

  • Experience in Building industry or previous handy person work necessary
  • Trade qualification highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work flexible days including occasional weekends, after hours and public holidays
  • A current NSW Drivers licence, appropriate vehicle and your own tools of the trade.
  • A white Card
  • A police check clearance

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Responsible for various repairs and building maintenance tasks including, but not limited to plastering, making safe, carpentry works, basic tiling, etc
  • Responsible for the identification of any repair and maintenance works that need to be undertaken
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance as request by our clients
  • Focusing on WH&S whilst conducting all activities
  • Travelling to various sites throughout Newcastle and Central Coast Area
  • Communicating the progress and completion of works as required
