As a Nurse Educator, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing patient care through innovative education and training programs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing educational initiatives tailored to enhance both theoretical knowledge and clinical skills across our service. By collaborating closely with the Nursing Executive, Clinical Nurse Educators, and Clinical Nurse Specialists, you'll ensure that these programs not only meet the highest standards but also support the effective implementation and review of clinical policies and procedures district-wide. Your expertise will drive excellence in patient care and professional development, making a lasting impact on our healthcare community.

ISLHD operate four hospital sites on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra: Coledale District Hospital, Bulli District Hospital, Wollongong Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital.
