The opportunity
As our business continues to expand, we're on the lookout for driven and talented professionals to grow with us. We are currently seeking an Associate Consultant to join our Hygiene Team based in Brisbane.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in occupational hygiene who thrives on variety, enjoys working with stakeholders, and is passionate about professional growth and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering occupational hygiene services across a wide range of sectors, including mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, and government. You'll be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of hygiene monitoring programs while building strong client relationships and developing your technical and consulting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational hygiene monitoring and assessments (e.g., dust, fibres, noise, MMIA, PRV, IAQ) across client sites
- Execute fieldwork using specialised equipment (up to 20kg)
- Assist with technical report writing and data analysis
- Support knowledge sharing across the team, including mentoring junior team members when required
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively seek learning and development opportunities
- Follow and contribute to the improvement of internal policies and procedures

You will bring
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge of occupational hygiene sampling techniques
- Proven ability to effectively manage time, workload and competing priorities
- Provisional AIOH Membership (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Project Management (desirable)
- Flexibility for site-based local and regional travel (FIFO/DIDO as required)
- A team-oriented, collaborative and proactive mindset
- Current Australian driver's license
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical
