The Role

The Supervisor Accountant, plays a pivotal role in the Prime Accounting & Business Advisory team, working closely with business owners to bring their aspirations to life. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of financial tasks, from preparing Board packs and management reports to interpreting results that empower clients to achieve their business goals to mentoring junior team members—while collaborating with other divisions to deliver holistic client outcomes.

  • Preparing and reviewing Board packs and management reports to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Preparing or reviewing financial statements and tax returns for Companies, Partnerships, and Trusts.
  • Reviewing BAS and IAS returns for accuracy and compliance.
  • Addressing CGT, GST, and Div 7A considerations in year-end work.
  • Mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and supporting their development.
  • Collaborating closely with Managers, Partners, and teams across Wealth, Capital, SMSF, and Consulting.

Qualifications & experience

  • CA/CPA qualified (or currently pursuing certification).
  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in Australian accounting, ideally from a mid-tier or similar environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in
    Australian tax and compliance
    .
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive,
    solutions-focused approach
    and a desire to grow.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a
    collaborative team player
    .
