Stone Fabricator & Warehouse Storeperson – Sample Cutting & Order Fulfilment

Avant Stone is seeking a reliable and motivated team member to join us in a hybrid role that combines stone fabrication and warehouse responsibilities. You will play a key part in cutting and preparing stone samples, as well as managing customer orders, packing, and assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position with variety and opportunities to grow into a long-term career in the stone industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cutting and preparing stone samples with accuracy and care
• Packing and dispatching customer orders to a high standard
• Safely loading and unloading trucks
• Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties
• Liaising with customers and ensuring exceptional service when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience with stone, masonry, or fabrication highly regarded
• Overhead crane experience preferred, as handling stone slabs is required
• Forklift licence preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to confidently follow instructions and prioritise tasks
• Driver's licence and own reliable transport required
• Availability to work Saturday mornings
• Strong focus on workplace safety (OHS)
