The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef / Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a daytime role only, with no split shifts or late nights. You'll be hands-on in preparing our menu, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, and bringing creative input into daily specials and seasonal updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard
- Assist in developing and executing daily specials and new menu ideas
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
- Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and support cost control
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver smooth service
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
About You
- Experience working as a chef or cook in a café or similar environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
- A passion for fresh, approachable food and quality presentation
- Positive attitude and a genuine team player
- Flexibility to adapt and contribute to a growing business

Pay: From $32.31 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
