The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef / Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a daytime role only, with no split shifts or late nights. You'll be hands-on in preparing our menu, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, and bringing creative input into daily specials and seasonal updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard
  • Assist in developing and executing daily specials and new menu ideas
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
  • Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and support cost control
  • Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver smooth service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

About You

  • Experience working as a chef or cook in a café or similar environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
  • A passion for fresh, approachable food and quality presentation
  • Positive attitude and a genuine team player
  • Flexibility to adapt and contribute to a growing business
