About the Role:
As a Restoration Technician, you'll assist with a wide range of restoration projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
This is a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm) reporting to the QLD Operations Manager. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, with clear opportunities to advance into senior roles as our QLD operations grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Water/mould restoration (drying, remediation, strip-outs)
- Fire restoration (cleaning, contents disposal)
- Contents handling (assessment, remediation, inventory)
- Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
- Preparing detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections
- Potential for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events
- Potential for after-hours and weekend work (with applicable rates)
Essential Requirements:
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
- Current and valid QLD driver's license (manual preferred)
- Valid Police Check
- A willingness to learn – no experience necessary
- Exceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
- Electronic reporting skills
Desirable:
- IICRC accreditations (Water, Mould, Fire)
- Experience in building, cleaning, or restoration industries
- Truck licence or experience driving larger vehicles
- Ability to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
