About the Role:

As a Restoration Technician, you'll assist with a wide range of restoration projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

This is a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm) reporting to the QLD Operations Manager. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, with clear opportunities to advance into senior roles as our QLD operations grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Water/mould restoration (drying, remediation, strip-outs)
  • Fire restoration (cleaning, contents disposal)
  • Contents handling (assessment, remediation, inventory)
  • Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
  • Preparing detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections
  • Potential for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events
  • Potential for after-hours and weekend work (with applicable rates)

Essential Requirements:

  • Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
  • Current and valid QLD driver's license (manual preferred)
  • Valid Police Check
  • A willingness to learn – no experience necessary
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
  • Electronic reporting skills

Desirable:

  • IICRC accreditations (Water, Mould, Fire)
  • Experience in building, cleaning, or restoration industries
  • Truck licence or experience driving larger vehicles
  • Ability to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
