About the role
As Ranger, you will be based at Traralgon and service a number of Parks and Reserves, most notably the Baw Baw National Park, Tarra Bulga National Park and Morwell National Park as well as Mt Worth State Park, Moondarra State Park and other surrounding Parks & Reserves. This role will deliver in-park services and on-ground works such as maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities and the field delivery of environmental projects.

We're looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience in self-management, customer service, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Sound ability in practical problem solving in field work or similar hands-on work.
- Ability to relate to and engage with the public - customer service and community engagement.
- Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to use bespoke applications.
- The availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
