About the Opportunity
Our Development team, based in
Perth CBD
, are currently seeking a Software Development Team Lead to join them. In this role you will report to the Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:


• Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and career development support.


• Champion best practices in software engineering, including clean architecture and domain-driven design.


• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.


• Developing and testing software applications as part of IT projects.


• Maintaining existing software applications.


• Estimating and tracking your own and team tasks within an IT project and communicating progress.


• Deploying and configuring new software applications in the production environment.


• Reviewing code and providing constructive feedback.


• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and team performance.


• Promoting software development best practice and sustainable code quality.

About You
Other key skills, experience and qualification:


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent tertiary education in the Information Technology field is preferred.


• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a software developer role.


• Proficient in both .NET Framework 4.8+ and .NET 8+, with deep expertise in ASP.NET MVC and Web API development.


• Strong TypeScript skills and hands-on experience with React and modern front-end tooling.


• Solid understanding of SQL development, including complex queries and performance optimisation.


• Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly App Services, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.


• Familiarity with clean architecture and domain-driven design principles.


• Proven leadership capabilities, with experience managing and mentoring software teams.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Experience working in an agile environment, preferably in a Scrum team.


• Good conceptual ability and skills in analysis and problem solving.
