Transdev Queensland is currently looking for a full-time Diesel Mechanic to join our Asset Maintenance team at our depot located in Capalaba. The role will be responsible to perform vehicle inspections, mechanical diagnosis, preventive maintenance, service, and repairs to Transdev Queensland's fleet of vehicles (diesel and electric).

What you bring:


• Full Australian working rights (an Australian citizen or permanent resident)


• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology


• Car mechanic or heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience


• Availability to work a rotating roster including Saturday and on-call when required


• A strong focus on safety


• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills


• The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment


• Good attention to detail and the ability to work under instruction


• Ability to plan and implement solutions decisively


• Ability to work well in high pressure situations


• Excellent time management skills


• Good oral and written communication skills


• Flexible and positive attitude towards change
