About Us

North Parkes Motel is a well-established 3-star accommodation provider located in the heart of Parkes, NSW. We are committed to delivering high-quality hospitality services to travelers, families, and corporate guests. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel/Motel Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

Salary offered

80,000 AUD to 85,000 AUD per month plus superannuation based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily motel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and front desk management.
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Lead and train staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor motel revenue, expenses, and profitability, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with hospitality regulations, safety standards, and health protocols.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests and improve occupancy rates.
  • Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests professionally.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and operational performance for owners/management.
  • Ensure the property and facilities are well-maintained and meet guest expectations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel/motel management or a related hospitality role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
  • Ability to handle guest concerns and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in marketing and business development for hospitality businesses is an advantage.
