Provisional Psychologist

Belconnen, ACT (Hybrid - Full Time/Part Time)

$85,000 – $95,000 per annum (inclusive of 12% superannuation)

At Good Collective Australia, you'll have the opportunity to deliver a blend of Behaviour Support and Psychological Capacity Building supports across NDIS, Medicare and private clients. Our practice values evidence-based care, and you'll be supported to use therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, while also developing your skills in cognitive and personality assessments, psychoeducational assessments, and capacity evaluations.

For Provisional Psychologists, we offer access to a Board-Approved Supervisor who can support your pathway to general registration, with structured supervision and a focus on building clinical confidence. For Behaviour Support Practitioners, you'll gain guidance from an experienced team with a strong background in Positive Behaviour Support and the ACT Senior Practitioner framework.

Our practitioners work flexibly across environments, from our Belconnen clinic to schools, family homes, and community settings, ensuring variety, collaboration, and meaningful client outcomes.

Who we're looking for

Provisional Psychologist

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
• Provisional registration with AHPRA (5+1 pathway)
• Interest in evidence-based therapy (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.) and assessments
• Willingness to work under supervision with structured support

Behaviour Support Practitioner

• Determined suitable as a Behaviour Support Practitioner through the NDIS registration process (some experience preferred but not essential)
• Qualifications in Psychology, Community Services, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Teaching, Social Work, Allied Health, or a related field
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and restrictive practices

For both roles

• Working with Vulnerable People registration
• NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)
• Driver's licence and car
• Full working rights in Australia
