Job Description
Due to a healthy pipeline of work, our Buildings & Places group are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team, based in Sydney.
You will be given the opportunity to work closely with a team of specialists to develop your structural engineering knowledge and design skills on a range of local, regional and inter-state projects.
How you'll make a difference:
- Design and analyse buildings and other related structures to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
- Liaise with contractors, architects and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with design and construction requirements. Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and other stakeholders.
- Assist with reviewing drawings and calculations prepared by other engineers.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 4+ years' consultancy experience in the design and analysis of buildings with demonstrated understanding of Australian codes, standards and regulations.
- Sound knowledge in structural calculations, drawings, specifications and other documents for design, construction and related activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both internally, and externally to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with clients, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
- Exposure to industry standard software Spacegass, ETABS, RAM Concept, Rapt.
- This role requires you to be an Australian Citizen
