The Role |
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Regulatory Affairs Specialist
to join their Double Bay office - you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting product registrations and lifecycle management activities across all products but with a key focus on their supplement and ingestible categories. Your role will have three core components – Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Education.
- Ensure overall regulatory & compliance of therapeutic and non-therapeutic products (ANZ).
- Develop and maintain product dossiers & evidence packages.
- Conduct regulatory reviews of product formulations for compliance against various regulations, relevant codes of practice and market requirements including but not limited to evaluating ingredients, formulations, product & raw material specifications.
- Approve product labelling for regulatory and technical compliance.
- Act as a key point of contact for all relevant government bodies / agencies, such as the TGA, FSANZ, and Department of Health.
- Provide input and support to government consultations and policy areas affecting the business.
- Manage product related complaints (internal) and post marketing surveillance issued by regulatory bodies.
- Manage and oversee pharmacovigilance requirements in conjunction with third party.
- Reporting of adverse events to the third-party PV provider.
- Ensure all team members undertake relevant internal trainings to comply with legislative obligations
- Support product training materials and sessions for team members, customers and consumers
The Skillset |
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You bring a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and a passion for contributing to the success of a fast-paced, science-led organisation.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the personal care, cosmetics, or related industries.
- In-depth knowledge of ANZ regulatory requirements for personal care and cosmetic products.
- Experience with product registration, labelling, and compliance documentation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- The ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with international regulatory requirements for personal care and cosmetics, especially within US and European regions.
- Experience with Pharmacovigilance and Quality activities an advantage
