ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Are you a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment? Our client is seeking an
APAC Senior Bookkeeper
to play a key role in supporting the Finance & Operations function across the APAC region.  Reporting to the APAC Finance & Operations Manager, this role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, supporting business continuity, and driving process improvements—particularly as the business transitions to a new ERP system over the next 12 months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable

  • Process invoices for the APAC region and maintain supplier database.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with stakeholders on approvals and coding.
  • Manage supplier queries and maintain the AP inbox.

Accounts Receivable

  • Process customer payments, remittances, credit notes, and rebate claims.
  • Monitor aged receivables and liaise with customers on overdue amounts.
  • Maintain customer database and monitor credit limits.
  • Manage the AR inbox and customer documentation.

Bookkeeping & Reporting

  • Support the Senior Financial Accountant with journals and reconciliations (e.g., prepayments, bank reconciliations, depreciation, accruals).
  • Assist with end-of-month and year-end processes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in order processing and logistics, recommending solutions to improve supply chain and customer service.

Digital Transformation

  • Support the roll-out of Oracle Fusion ERP (go-live April 2026).
  • Experience in Payables, Receivables, and Cash Management modules highly regarded.

ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable professional with:

  • Demonstrated experience in AP/AR, customer rebates and claims.
  • Strong ERP experience (Oracle Fusion, Epicor, or similar).
  • Background in FMCG or with major retailers (Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse/Sigma) highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organisational skills.
  • Experience working in a small, local team within a global corporation (advantageous)
