Motel NightManager (Couple or Single) – Strathfield NSW

We are seeking an experienced and motivated couple or single person to manage an established 47-room motel located in Strathfield, NSW.

If you have a strong background in hospitality and lived experience, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

About the Role

This is a live-in night management position responsible for overseeing all aspects of motel operations, including guest services and day-to-day maintenance.

You'll ensure smooth nightly operations, maintain service standards, and create a welcoming environment for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily motel operations and ensure smooth running of the business
  • Oversee reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Handle guest enquiries and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Respond to calls and guest needs after hours, including after hours and weekends
  • Manage time efficiently and handle tasks independently
  • Perform or coordinate basic maintenance and emergency repairs when required

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in hospitality or motel management is essential
  • Able to live on-site and manage after-hours responsibilities
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Passionate about customer service and building positive guest relationships
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Basic maintenance skills preferred
  • First Aid Certificate
