About the Role
As our Demand Planner, you'll be the engine behind our inventory success – ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time. With your forecasting finesse and analytical edge, you'll drive data-led decisions that support our customers, stores, and online channels.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end demand forecasting – including base sales, promotional uplifts, new lines, and opportunity buys to ensure stock availability across all channels.
- Align demand with strategy – regularly sync demand and merchandise plans and conduct post-promotional analysis to optimise future planning.
- Drive insight-led decisions – analyse sales trends and external factors, providing actionable insights to the Category team and broader business.
- Own replenishment planning – manage stock levels, place timely orders, resolve aged/excess inventory issues, and ensure pre-promotional readiness.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively – work cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Bring
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail – you thrive on interpreting data, identifying trends, and making precise, insight-led decisions
- Experience in planning or analytical roles in either retail or FMCG industries
- Strong communication and influencing skills – you'll collaborate across departments and with external partners
- A commercial mindset with a sharp focus on inventory optimisation, financial performance, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes
- Exposure to SAP / JDA (Blue Yonder) or similar systems (desirable but not essential)
