Early Childhood Teacher

Join our team as an Early Childhood Teacher and play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds. We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join us in providing exceptional Early Childhood Early Intervention services in the beautiful Mid North Coast region and surrounding areas.

We are specifically looking for teachers in the Kempsey, South West Rocks and Forster areas. However, we are open to considering candidates from outside these locations who demonstrate the right skills and passion for the role.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required to qualify for this position.

• Experience with Diverse Learners: This position involves working with children with additional learning needs, disabilities, and developmental delays.

• NDIS Awareness: Awareness of the NDIS is preferred but not essential. Mentoring is provided to support your understanding and implementation of NDIS-related practices.

• Independent Time Management: This is an Independent Contractor position where you have the autonomy to manage your own schedule. You can pick and choose your availability, and you will be compensated well above award rates for the hours worked and travel time.

• Effective Communication: Proficiency in both verbal and written communication is essential as the role requires regular feedback to families, educators, Allied Health Professionals and note-taking.

Contractor Requirements:

• Insurance and Certifications: As a contractor, you will need to obtain Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance, an ABN (Australian Business Number), Working With Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid and Anaphylactic training. Certification in Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk is preferred, not mandatory.
