Full-Time Cook / Chef – Canberra Labor Club (Belconnen)

We are now looking for a full-time Cook / Chef to join our passionate Belconnen kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills across multiple sections and be part of a team that values quality, creativity, and teamwork.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Work confidently across fryers, grill, and pans in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ensure consistent presentation, portioning, and taste.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service.

What we're looking for

• Commercial Cookery Certificate (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in a high-end restaurant or high-volume environment.
• Strong à la carte food production skills.
• A hands-on professional with excellent attention to detail.
• Food Safety qualification and strong knowledge of safe practices.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Full Australian working rights (mandatory – no visa sponsorship available).
