Refrigeration Mechanic

CQ Refrigeration Air-Conditioning & Electrical Pty Ltd is a Rockhampton based company specialising in commercial servicing and installation in the Rockhampton and Capricorn Region for the past 14 years. We are seeking a Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic on a full-time basis.

Duties include:

• Diagnose and repair faults on refrigeration equipment including cool rooms, freezer rooms, ice machines, display fridges, bar facilities and all other general refrigeration work
• Repairs and maintenance on split, cassette, ducted, room, packaged and evaporative A/C units
• Experience in new installations both refrigeration and air-conditioning

To be considered for this position you must have/be:

• Reliable
• Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently
• Supervise apprentices
• Professional, courteous manner when dealing with customers
• Current Refrigeration Handling Licence
• Current QLD Restricted Electrical Licence
• Current Drivers Licence (manual)
• Current Construction Card
• Willing to undertake pre-employment checks

Standard working hours are Monday – Friday, however some "on call" after-hours and weekend work will be required.

The successful applicant will be supplied with a company vehicle and an above ward hourly rate based on experience.
