Mosman Village Church (formerly known as St Clement's) is at an exciting stage of its ministry life, in the midst of revitalisation with a bustling renewed kids and youth ministry and a growing number of new young families. Our vision is to Know Jesus and Make Jesus Known.

Key Responsibilities

Experience and a passion for children's and youth ministry is desirable. Coordinate and provide general oversight of all children's and youth ministry activities across the parish at Mosman Village Church

Provide leadership and direction to our Sunday morning children's ministry programs during our 10am Family Service. Currently this includes Village Cubs (preschool), Village Kids (K-4) and liaising with Village Youth (Yr 5+) — you will have the support of 2 Student Ministers and other leaders.

Coordinate and run our Friday evening youth group: Village Youth — as above, you will have the support of 2 Student Ministers and other youth leaders

Embed our pathway of Gathering, Growing, Giving and Going within our children's and youth ministry programs. (More details of the above in the full Job description.)

General Duties

For the right candidate there will be ample opportunity for them to develop other ministry skills should they desire it. These would include the following:

a. Preach on a semi-regular basis as timetabling allows across our 3 Sunday services.

b. Lead in our services from time to time.

c. Support the welcoming and integration of new people and their follow up as required.

d. Take baptisms, weddings and funerals as the opportunity arises.

We are looking for the right person who will have the necessary foundational skills but also the personality and character to compliment our team.
