SJ Dental is a long-established, family-friendly clinic located in the heart of Wodonga's CBD. Our team includes experienced dentists, dental assistants and reception team, working together in a supportive, modern environment with good technology.

We are looking for a Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to join our team. This role suits someone who enjoys helping people, working in a team, and learning new skills in a friendly clinic.


About the Role
  • Chair-side assisting for dentists

    (fillings, extractions, exams and cleans, root canal treatment, orthodontics and implant dentistry)
  • Sterilisation duties: recording, processing and maintaining instruments through autoclaves
  • Preparing and stocking treatment rooms

  • Some reception duties, including:

  • Greeting patients

  • Taking phone calls and making appointments
  • Taking payments and processing private health fund claims (training provided)
  • General clinic support to ensure smooth daily operations

Who We're Looking For
  • No experience required — full on-the-job training provided
  • Experience in reception, healthcare, medical or dental settings is desirable but not essential
  • Friendly, reliable and willing to learn
  • Full Australian work rights
  • No criminal history (police check may be requested)

Hours
  • Flexible: Casual, Part-Time or Full-Time
  • Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
