Disability Support Workers Needed for Behavioural and Complex Needs

Day & Overnight Shifts | $30–$35/hr | Part-Time & Casual

We're looking for committed, hands-on people who thrive on making a genuine difference. As a Support Worker, you'll help participants achieve their goals through:

  • Social, community, and recreational activities
  • In-home assistance and personal care
  • Daily living support and hygiene assistance

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, every day will be different but every day will matter. You will:

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with participants to understand their needs, preferences, and goals
  • Provide personal care and hygiene support with dignity and sensitivity
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and organising household routines
  • Deliver specialised care for complex needs, including PEG feeding, bowel care, and mobility support
  • Support participants to engage in their community, whether it's attending appointments, joining social activities, or enjoying recreational outings
  • Encourage independence by teaching and reinforcing life skills in a supportive way
  • Provide emotional support, helping participants navigate challenges and celebrate achievements
  • Communicate effectively with family members, health professionals, and the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality support
  • Follow individual care plans and document progress, incidents, or changes in needs

Qualifications

Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification)

Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check

Valid First aid and CPR certificate

Working with children certificate
