Key Responsibilities

As a Painter, your duties will include:

• Preparing surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, sealing, and filling cracks and holes.
• Mixing and matching paints, stains, and varnishes to the required colours and textures.
• Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment.
• Protecting surfaces and furnishings by masking, covering, and erecting scaffolding where necessary.
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and client specifications.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and a safe, clean work environment.
• Complying with workplace health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 years' relevant work experience.
• Sound knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current driver's licence preferred.
