Position Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Frontend Developer with a focus on testing, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping innovative web and mobile solutions. Based in Perth, Australia, this permanent position requires a seasoned professional with 5 to 10 years of experience. You will leverage your expertise in modern languages and frameworks such as Ruby, Python, , and Go, while also managing teams of Senior SDEs and SREs within a DevOps culture. About The Role

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using modern web and mobile languages/frameworks such as Ruby, Python, , and Go.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Senior Software Development Engineers (SDEs) and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) in a DevOps culture.
  • Utilize strong SQL skills to manage data, run queries, and ensure data integrity across applications.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across several applications, providing guidance and expertise to the team.
  • Ensure the security and scalability of cloud-based software solutions, working closely with security and cloud teams.
  • Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to address and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

About the candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on testing.
  • Proficiency in modern web and mobile languages/frameworks such as Ruby, Python, , and Go.
  • Experience managing teams of Senior Software Development Engineers (SDEs) and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) in a DevOps culture.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of the Microsoft stack, including IIS, SSL Certs, and .NET.
  • Experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across several applications.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
