About the role

Focus Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled BMS Installation - Commissioning Technician to join our dynamic team in Clayton, VIC. As a full-time team member, you will play a key role in the installation, servicing and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) for a small number of key account customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Install, configure and commission BMS systems and components.
  2. Carry out service, testing, tuning and troubleshooting of BMS equipment.
  3. Prepare commissioning, service and tuning reports for each project.
  4. Liaise with clients, contractors and colleagues to ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant trade qualification as an Electrician or Service Technican.
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in the installation and commissioning of BMS systems.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of BMS technologies, protocols and programming.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  5. Proficient in using BMS software and diagnostic tools.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  7. Good communication and customer service skills.
  8. A current driver's licence and willingness to learn new skills.
