Cook/Chef

What we are looking for:

You know your stuff and can cook, you have cooking qualifications and at least 1 year cooking experience in a busy environment. You can cook simple food and be good at it. You have cooked in a kitchen with tapas or similar environment. You can cook in high pressure environments. You have an exceedingly high service standard. You want to grow and be involved and can back yourself with action and skills.

What you will you do:

You will be working in our 120-seater restaurant in Crows Nest and these are a few of the roles you will be in charge of but not limited to,

• Cooking all meals relating to your section
• Setting up your workstations with all the required ingredients and cooking equipment
• Preparing ingredients to use in cooking in your section (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Food safety around all our food products
• Work with floor staff to ensure amazing customer experience every time
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is preferred but not essential
• Stock Takes and ordering- as required
• Prep, clean and plan for next day

Flexible availability for shifts and hours is required.

Formal cooking qualifications are required.
