About The Role
St Francis Xavier College is seeking to recruit a Director of Student Wellbeing to join our team in 2026 or earlier. The Director of Student Wellbeing is a specialist role in the College offering support and advice in leadership of student wellbeing. The College is seeking a person who is committed to the vision of the College 'Living the truth, leading with courage, learning for life' who is invested in and who will promote the mission of Catholic education. The successful applicant will be an experienced educator, will have demonstrated successful experience in either pastoral or curriculum leadership at Coordinator level and will possess initiative, integrity and vision.

The Director of Student provides expert leadership in pastoral care and student wellbeing in Years 7 -12 utilising best practice in current research, evidence and innovation to meet the needs of all learners pursuing Year 10 or 12 Certification. As a member of the Pastoral Leadership team the Director of Student Wellbeing reports to the Assistant Principal Student Wellbeing and to the Principal in realising the vision and mission of the College.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
• Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
