Location: K Town Hotel, 11 Third Street, Katherine, NT

Employment Type: Full-time [Around 50 to 55 hours per week, including weekend]

Salary: 65,000 to 72000

Contract: 5 years

Reports To: Hotel Manager / Operations Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Hospitality Worker to join our team at our integrated hospitality business, which includes a hotel, restaurant, and laundry service. The ideal candidate will be flexible and capable of performing a variety of duties across different areas of the operation, ensuring a high standard of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Hotel Operations:

• Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
• Provide information about local attractions, hotel amenities, and services
• Clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas to a high standard
• Replenish room supplies, change linens, and report maintenance issues
• Monitor guest feedback and ensure excellent service delivery

Restaurant Duties:

• Assist with food and beverage service, including taking orders and serving meals
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after service
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and restrooms
• Handle basic food prep tasks under supervision (if required)
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Provide a friendly and welcoming dining experience for guests

Laundry Services:

• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry
• Operate commercial laundry machines safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area
• Identify and report any damaged or missing items
• Keep an inventory of linen supplies and restock as needed

General Duties:

• Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Assist with stock control and deliveries when required
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors or management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, food service, or laundry (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Physical fitness – able to stand for long periods, lift items, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and across various shifts
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
