What's on offer:

  • A casual, annual leave cover role for an experienced Exercise Physiologist, offering 
    1 day (~6 hours) per week for 6 weeks
    , on Fridays across October and November 2025.

  • An attractive hourly rate, reflecting the casual/temp nature of the role.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As our Exercise Physiologist, you will play a crucial role in:

  • Working independently to run our in-village EP 'clinic' within a supportive framework, liaising and collaborating with village staff and our external team as needed.
  • Leading small-group exercise classes with the ability to keep participants engaged and adapting exercises where necessary.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised exercise plans for village residents.
  • Implementing effective physiotherapy interventions to improve strength, balance, and mobility, reducing the risk of falls.
  • Educating residents and their families on exercises and strategies for maintaining independence.
  • Working collaboratively with residents to achieve their personal health and wellness goals.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, notes and billing information.

What you'll bring:

  • Current and valid 
    ESSA registration
    .
  • A minimum of 
    1 year of experience as an EP,
    ideally with older patients/clients. Experience in a private practice setting is a plus.
  • A genuine passion for working with independent older adults and safely challenging them to build up their strength, balance and mobility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your caseload independently across locations.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a suitable working visa..
