We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated team and play an essential role in supporting our emergency operations.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Nursing Assistant to support our clinical operations and help create calm, clean, and compassionate spaces for pets and their families in emergencies.

About the Role

As a Nursing Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping our hospital running smoothly — supporting our vets and nurses, caring for patients, and maintaining our high standards of hygiene and safety. Every day is different, and every shift makes a difference.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with animal care and handling during busy emergency shifts
  • Maintain hospital hygiene, including patient enclosures, equipment, and floors
  • Manage laundry and bedding to ensure patient comfort
  • Prepare food for patients and wildlife as directed
  • Support infection control, safety, and biosecurity standards
  • Be part of a professional, supportive, and caring team

About You

You're someone who brings energy, compassion, and reliability to everything you do.

  • Certificate II in Animal Care (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Passion for animal welfare and hands-on care
  • Reliable, well-presented, and team-focused
  • Available for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
  • A driver's licence and positive attitude are a must
