Citadines on Bourke Melbourne, located in the heart of Melbourne's city centre, is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join the Engineering team as a Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will be part of a tight-knit, supportive team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure all systems and facilities function in accordance with Ascott's standards and regulatory compliance.
• Performing routine maintenance inspections, checks, and repairs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to prevent equipment failures.
• Managing vendor quotations, purchase orders, and cost controls in alignment with departmental budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conducting regular audits and implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance maintenance efficiency and asset longevity.
• Supporting emergency response procedures, including after-hours breakdowns and ensuring all safety, fire, and environmental systems are operational.

Ideally you must have:

• Proven experience in facilities or maintenance supervision within a hospitality, residential, or commercial environment.
• Solid understanding of preventive maintenance procedures, OH&S regulations, and building services such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, control costs, and liaise with contractors or service providers effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team, conduct technical assessments, and uphold service and brand standards.
• Willingness to be on-call for after-hours emergencies and provide support to other properties as required.
