With our purpose to make everyday better, and our four values of partnership, tenacity, enjoyment and care at the heart of everything we do, we are proud to realise our vision of "Creative people together transforming our world."The opportunityWe're looking for a Senior or Associate Mechanical Engineer to deliver complex engineering solutions across water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants and pump stations (>500L/s).In this role, you'll take ownership of mechanical design and commissioning, select and specify equipment, optimise processes, support construction, and manage risk in line with WHS and industry standards. You'll also guide teams through every project phase from planning to operational handover.You'll provide expert oversight on mechanical design and installation, contribute to bids and tenders by reviewing documentation and refining cost estimates, and collaborate with procurement teams to define scopes and engage vendors. Building strong client relationships and acting as a key technical contact will be central to your role, along with mentoring junior engineers, driving continuous improvement, and championing innovation to ensure successful project outcomes.About YouYou're ideally a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or a related discipline) and bring proven leadership in mechanical design for water and wastewater treatment projects. You possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, are familiar with digital engineering platforms such as BIM and Revit and can perform effectively under pressure while managing competing priorities.
