Our services include everything from tooth whitening to complete smile makeovers, all aimed at rejuvenating your smile while maintaining optimal oral health. Role Description

$ $350,000 per year

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available with our highly successful, long established, privately owned dental practices in beautiful sunny Cairns, Far North Queensland, located on the world-renowned Great Barrier Reef. Are you looking for a sea change?

We welcome Dentists with all levels of experience, both new graduates and experienced Dentists. Successful candidate will be replacing long term dentist who has moved away from Cairns.

The Dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Responsibilities include performing routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, and cosmetic dental procedures. The Dentist will also educate patients on oral health practices and collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Additional duties include maintaining patient records, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and participating in ongoing professional development.

Both clinics have newly updated equipment including CEREC PrimeScan, high definition OPG/CBCT, digital x-rays, rotary endo, and intraoral cameras, In-house specialty procedures including Single Visit CEREC Crowns, Implants, Somnomed and SureSmile. We have also recently purchased a new Primeprint 3D printing system.

Our practice is renowned for being family friendly and cosmetically orientated, providing exceptional care and customer service. Our Dentists enjoy a dedicated and progressive work environment with a motivated team.

We have preferred provider status with multiple major health funds as well as DVA and CDBS.

Qualifications

  • General Dentistry skills including assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
  • Cosmetic Dentistry skills such as tooth whitening, veneers, and smile makeovers are a plus but not essential
  • Strong patient care skills, including patient education and engagement
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other dental professionals
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus but not essential
  • Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery and valid dentistry license in QLD
