We are seeking applications for a Full Stack Developer to join the Business Operations team on a 12-month contract. The role sits within a small, experienced team with exposure to investment data, APIs, and modern cloud practices, in support of proprietary investment tools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Enhance and maintain the proprietary Angular web application
  • Work on Excel-integrated tools powered by front-end and COM Add-ins (C#) via API communication
  • Interface with APIs developed in C#/.NET and Python
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across UI, APIs, and data flows
  • Follow clean code standards, ensuring secure and robust implementations
  • Participate in code reviews, create pull requests, and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with the team in sprint planning and task tracking
  • Understand and support build, release, and deployment pipelines

Ideal candidates will exhibit familiarity with the following:

  • Excel Add-ins: (JavaScript-based) and COM Add-ins (C#), including deployment and integration patterns
  • Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, charting libraries (e.g. Plotly)
  • Backend: C#, .NET Core Web APIs, Python APIs
  • Data: SQL Server, Snowflake (via APIs)
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: Azure, AKS, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), GitHub, Docker
  • Other Tools: JIRA, Excel (integration), Bash/Linux (basic knowledge)

About you:

  • Strong front-end development skills using Angular and TypeScript
  • Sound understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and modern CSS (e.g. Flexbox, SCSS)
  • Proficiency in developing and debugging Excel Add-ins and COM-based)
  • Familiarity with API integration and backend fundamentals in C#/.NET
  • Experience with SQL Server (querying, debugging)
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and secure code
