THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for a HC Crane Truck Driver based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Logistics team - reporting to the QLD Logistics Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck
- Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
- Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
- Scan and update records and manifests
- Maintain Vehicle and Driver Logs
- Liaise with Despatch and Customers on delivery issues and delays
- Keep a clean Truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- A Current HC Licence – essential
- A Current VLC high risk ticket - essential
- Willingness to work metro and country runs
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
- Good communicator, both written and verbal
- Enjoys working autonomously
- Adhere to Stratco Safety and other policies and procedures
- A passion to deliver excellent customer service
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
- Whilst experience is great, it'll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
