About the Role: Full-Time Chef

This isn't just another chef job; it's a chance to make your mark. As our Full-Time Chef, you will be instrumental in ensuring the consistent excellence of KCS Chicken. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Hands-on Cooking: Mastering all kitchen stations, including prep, frying, and burger assembly, leading by example during service.
  • Kitchen Management: Overseeing ordering and stocktake to ensure freshness and minimise waste.
  • Quality Control: Relentlessly checking the quality of ingredients and finished products to meet our "world's best" standard.
  • Hygiene & Cleanliness: Maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen, upholding the highest food safety standards.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Assisting in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.

Candidates must possess full Australian work rights and authorisation to work permanently in Australia.

A Diploma level or higher formal culinary qualification is required for this position.

  • Commercial Kitchen Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience working in commercial kitchen operations is required.
