Join the Northern Beaches Clinical School to lead and contribute to quality clinical education and student experience.
About the Role
In their final year, Macquarie Medical Students undertake a 4-week PRINT placement, currently with the inpatient General Medicine and Geriatric teams at Northern Beaches Hospital. This role provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of these PRINT placements, ensuring a high-quality learning experience that aligns with the Macquarie MD curriculum.
You will work closely with Clinical Supervisors and the Head of Clinical School to support student engagement, academic progress, and supervision. The role also contributes to assessment, curriculum development, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning across the clinical school. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, you will play a vital role in preparing students for professional medical practice.

- Perform one Bed Side Tutorial (BST) for Year 2 students per week during the clinical year.
Resources
- Support curriculum improvement and teaching requirements through consultation with clinical staff and others.
- Partner with the Head of Clinical School in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all allied health, medical and nursing professionals working to ensure adequate support for student learning during their placements.
