SHEET METAL TRADESPERSON – FIRE INDUSTRY SPECIALIST (FULL TIME) QUEENSLAND

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sheet Metal Tradesperson to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to work within the fire protection industry, fabricating and assembling high-quality metal components used in essential fire protection.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Fabricating, cutting, and assembling sheet metal components
  • Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and galvanised materials
  • Welding
  • Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  • Working as part of a supportive and skilled team
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Sheet Metal or Metal Fabrication
  • Proven experience in fabrication or workshop environments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to read technical drawings and work to precise measurements
  • Current driver's licence (forklift licence advantageous)
  • Right to work in Australia
