Desktop Support - EUC - 3 month contract

Location: Northern Suburbs

We're seeking an experienced Desktop Support Officer (EUC) to provide hands-on technical support to end users and ensure a seamless IT experience. This role is critical in managing the full device lifecycle — from building and deploying PCs with Microsoft Autopilot, to asset management, troubleshooting, and supporting users through technology refresh projects.

You will play a key role in major IT initiatives, including the Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration, while ensuring service excellence across hardware, software, and mobile devices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end user support across PCs, laptops, tablets, and iOS devices
  • Build, deploy, and maintain devices using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot
  • Support technology refresh and migration projects
  • Deliver high-quality IT support in line with ITIL processes and SLAs
  • Act as first point of contact for VIP/executive support requests
  • Optimise self-service and automation capabilities for end users
  • Collaborate with IT teams across networking, cloud, and infrastructure
  • Maintain documentation, service standards, and asset management records
  • Assess and recommend new technologies to enhance the end user experience

Key Requirements

Mandatory:

  • 4+ years IT technical support experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot
  • Strong skills across Windows 10/11, M365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and general hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Experience with ITIL-aligned service delivery
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in IT/Computer Science
  • Demonstrated ability to manage end user compute environments, asset management, and service desk processes

Desirable:

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM
  • Strong software packaging/distribution and identity lifecycle management knowledge
  • Experience supporting a range of desktop and mobile devices
