HR Drivers
  • Permanent - Full-time position – Townsville, QLD
  • Monday to Friday, Early AM starts
  • Hourly rate of $35.50 per hour (effective 31/10/25) + penalties for all overtime
  • Must be able to do up to 12-hour days when required
  • Some weekend work required (rotating roster)
  • Uniform and PPE provided

The Opportunity 

Based at our Townsville depot, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for operating a collection vehicle within the Townsville area, including within metro areas. This may include Rear lift, hook lift and front lift loading/unloading tasks, servicing our customers across the region.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Valid HR licence, clean driving record
  • Safety mindset
  • Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
  • To be considered for this role, you must be willing to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway) 

Waste industry experience is not essential; however, possessing a good attitude, being reliable, and having a willingness to learn is.
