Southern Foodservice is a proudly Tasmanian-owned food distribution business supplying quality products to restaurants, cafés, and caterers across the state.

We're looking for a Warehouse Person / Driver to join our small, close-knit team in Glenorchy. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, starting at 5am each day.

About the role

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all parts of the warehouse and delivery process. You'll work alongside a small team who value reliability, teamwork, and good communication. You won't be just a number — you'll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly.

Your day will include:

  • Helping dispatch and coordinate morning delivery runs
  • Receiving and checking incoming stock
  • Picking and preparing orders for the next day
  • Operating forklifts and trucks as required
  • Making local deliveries when needed
  • Providing friendly, professional service to our customers

What we're looking for

  • Forklift licence (LF) – required
  • Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence – required
  • Previous warehouse or delivery experience is highly regarded
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
