About the opportunity
Werribee Mercy Hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Scrub / Scout Nurse to join our Perioperative team for a fixed term contract until April 2026. As a public hospital servicing the community of the West, we have an exciting growth strategy which will lay the foundation for the future and provide opportunity for professional development and career progression. Our Perioperative department is light, bright and modern consisting of six theatres. We provide service to a growing list of specialties including obstetrics, gynaecology, orthopedics and respiratory.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years Australian experience as a Scrub / Scout Nurse
- Post-Graduate certificate in Perioperative Nursing / Anaesthetics & PACU Nursing, or equivalent, is highly desirable
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
