Chambers 262 is a serviced office building in the heart of Dubbo, providing six permanent office spaces for professionals in the legal, financial, property and agricultural sectors.
A serviced office combines private workspace with shared professional services — each office is fully fitted, furnished, and IT-equipped, with access to communal areas and a friendly community of professionals.
Our recently renovated building offers modern facilities, a quiet and private working environment, off-street parking, a coffee machine, and a children's room to assist clients attending with young children. We also have onsite shower facilities for staff and tenants.
About the Role
We are looking for a Chambers Clerk — a professional, friendly, and organised person who will be the welcoming face of Chambers 262.
You will manage the front desk, greet clients and visitors, answer and transfer calls, and assist tenants with day-to-day administrative support. Your professionalism, presentation, and attention to detail will help ensure our building runs smoothly and leaves a lasting positive impression.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages and manage email enquiries
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with office tenants and clients
- Manage general administration: mail and email distribution, room bookings, data entry, filing (electronic and physical)
- Plan and schedule appointments, meetings, and assist with travel arrangements for tenants and staff
- Order office supplies, kitchen items, and catering as required
About You
You take pride in your presentation, are highly organised, and enjoy helping people. You're comfortable managing competing demands with a calm, professional approach and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in reception or customer service (preferred)
- Confident computer user – Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational ability
- Ability to process payments via EFTPOS
- Experience with practice management software (or willingness to learn)
- Adaptable and effective under pressure
Requirements
- Uphold confidentiality at all times
- Hold a current driver's licence
- Willingness to undergo a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Work Hours
You can choose from:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm (we finish at 3pm on Fridays)
- Part-time: Tuesday to Friday, 9am–5pm (we finish at 3pm on Fridays)
