We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Hand to join our Springwood Holding Yard team. If you enjoy working outdoors, being hands-on, and contributing to the smooth operation of a busy vehicle logistics yard, this could be your next opportunity.


About the Role

Working closely with two other team members, you'll play a key part in managing the day-to-day logistics of our holding yard, ensuring the right vehicles are in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the movement and organisation of vehicle stock around the holding yard
  • Check in new vehicle deliveries from car carriers, inspecting for transport damage
  • Allocate and coordinate internal truck runs for vehicle transfers between sites
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our stock management system
  • Ensure a clean, organised, and safety-conscious yard environment

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor setting. Experience in a similar role is highly regarded but not essential – we will provide training to the right person.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A current driver's licence (manual licence preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer literacy for updating stock systems
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
